There is something mesmerizing about a fire.
Do you remember the last time you sat around a camp fire and stared at the flames for hours? When that fire is erupting from a 2 ton rock, the effect is multiplied. I can't tell you how many times I have sat with my friends and family around my fire pit all night long. The conversation never stops, but all eyeballs are on the fire!
Since I build both fire pits and natural water features for a living, I have both in my back yard. They are both stunning in their own way - but we don't gather around the water feature. Nope, not us.
